Film photography is now popular more than ever - old school looking photos are a great thing to catch our memories into. More and more people buys old cameras to feel this immortal soul of a film roll.
But what if you want to check if it's your cup of tea and don't want to spend money on all this gear?
Of course - your smartphone will come with help. We have such apps as Huji, Gudak of Feica. Sounds familiar? Of course it does.
Because testing apps and softwares is my huge passion, I'm always up to date with all kinds of applications that can make our photography better and more unique using only the phone in our pockets.
These apps I mentioned are really good and if not free - very affordable. I'm never satisfied so I keep searching. Few days ago I found NOMO and my world changed 180 degrees. The app is free and gives you 8 different cameras to use - 2 of them are free of charge and the rest we can buy for $0.99 each. It's the best simulation of film camera I've ever seen. We can choose from Nikon 35 Ti, Toy camera, Fisheye, Ricoh GR21, Polaroid OneStep 2, Olympus mju-II, Lomography LC-A and Fujifilm Instax. Tempting? I hope so!
As a film photography freak I highly recommend checking it out to get the best emulation possible. I compared Instax and Polaroid photos with real films and I was so impressed with similarity.
But what if you're an amateur and you have no idea what I'm talking about?
Keep calm, I come with examples. Enjoy and let me know what you think!
